GATHERING OF LIGHT
by Anthology
26 September onwards GALLERY 2

From places of worship to homes, light transforms ordinary spaces to those illuminated with meaning, marking our rituals of gathering. At Anthology, we see the candlestand not only as an object of function, but as a keeper of memory, a sculptural symbol of time and place. A Gathering of Light is an invitation to 23 emerging artists and designers to reimagine this archetype. Together, these works reveal a collective narrative, of renewed spirit, of tradition in conversation with the contemporary.

For her first solo exhibition in India, world-renowned ceramic artist Jane Yang-D’Haene invites us into a passage between memory and anticipation. Drawing from a deep well of Korean ceramic tradition, her work folds past into present; each piece a testament to both time and cultural heritage. Created exclusively for Nilaya Anthology, this collection explores the shared resonance in our philosophies and India’s ever-evolving design landscape, all of which centre themselves around materiality, making and meaning.

ELEMENTAL
by Anthology
August Onwards The Ramp

Anthology’s point of view draws from the quiet reciprocities that make great design possible. Elemental is an invitation to reflect on the life-affirming relationship between makers and the land that nourishes their practice. Through the lens of five ‘elements’, we explore the journey of making, beginning with water and moving through earth, fire, air and finally–-human touch. Elemental is an ode to an older, wiser way of creating and consuming, and an homage to every maker in our world.
Visit The Ramp to explore the journey of each maker, and the materials that serve as both their canvas and collaborator.
